Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy for iZoomer at izoomer.app — how we handle data when you view public Instagram content.

Who We Are

iZoomer ("we", "us") operates the website https://izoomer.app.

iZoomer is an independent free tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

If you have privacy questions, contact us at support@izoomer.app or via our contact page.

What iZoomer Does

iZoomer lets you view public Instagram profile pictures and other public content in full size.

Key points about the scope of the service:

  • The service works with public content only.
  • No login is required, and we never ask for your Instagram password.
  • Private profiles, Stories visible to followers only, and other restricted content are not supported.
  • You only need to enter a public username or profile URL to use the tool.

Data We Collect

We keep data collection minimal. There is no account system, and the service is free, so we collect no payment data.

  1. User input you provide — the Instagram username or profile URL you enter to perform a lookup.
  2. Usage and log data — pages viewed, timestamps, error logs, and abuse-prevention / rate-limit logs, which may include IP addresses and request headers.
  3. Coarse device and browser information — such as browser type, operating system, device category, language, and screen size.
  4. Cookies and similar technologies — as described in the cookie policy and the Advertising section below.

We do not collect precise geolocation data.

How We Use Data

We use the data above to:

  • Operate the lookup feature and display requested public content.
  • Maintain reliability, debug errors, and protect against abuse, scraping, and rate-limit circumvention.
  • Measure aggregate usage and improve performance and usability.
  • Serve and measure advertising where ads are displayed.

Cookies and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and — where ads are shown — to serve and measure ads.

Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies, web beacons, and similar identifiers on your browser or device, and may collect or receive IP addresses and coarse device information, in order to serve and measure ads on iZoomer.

Specifically:

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and other sites.
  • Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use Google services.
  • You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
  • For visitors from the EEA and the UK, consent for personalized ads and measurement is collected through Google's own consent management tools (Funding Choices), in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy, before any personalized advertising or analytics storage is used.
  • You can also manage or block cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may work less well without them.
  • We do not pass personal identifiers you enter (such as searched usernames tied to you) into ad requests.

See our cookie policy for details on cookie categories and controls.

Children

iZoomer is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly engage in interest-based advertising targeted at children.

Data Retention

We retain log and usage data only as long as needed for operations, security, and abuse prevention, after which it is deleted or aggregated. User-entered usernames or URLs used for a lookup are processed transiently and are not stored in a user profile, since there are no accounts.

Security

We protect data with TLS encryption in transit, restricted access controls, and monitoring for misuse. However, no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only when necessary:

  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities.
  • To prevent abuse, enforce our terms of service, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users and iZoomer.
  • With trusted service providers (such as hosting, analytics, security, and advertising partners) acting on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you may object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise these rights, email support@izoomer.app with details of your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need limited information to verify the request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of iZoomer after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Effective date: October 2, 2026.
